Mass media publish a lot of materials on the problems of environment protection.
The State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its structural units regularly hold press-conferences to inform public on their activity and to present the published ecological literature. Thus, on 15 January the Tashkent Province Committee for Nature Protection organized the press-conference ‘High Ecological Culture- the base of progress’ in the National Press-centre.  Scientists, representatives of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan, public and Journalists took part in this press-conference.
During the press-conference employees of the Tashkent Province Committee for Nature Protection spoke about their activity, discussed the ecological problems of Tashkent province.
At the end of this event the organizers of the press- conference   presented the ecological literature, published by the Tashkent Province Committee for Nature Protection. The presented books were handed over to the representatives of higher, secondary and secondary specialized educational institutions for distribution among the students.
