Spring is the time of revival and awakening of nature from winter hibernation. The companies that have their sites in the Internet network also try to change themselves for the better. On the eve of spring the new design of the site ECONEWS.UZ was developed for comfort of our users. New design worked out by employees of the Ecological Publishing Company ‘Chinor ENK’, reflects the last tendencies and achievements in this field, taking into consideration successful work experiences and defects of past years of work.
In March our information resource will mark its first anniversary – five years of presence on the market of ecological information providing. During past five years, it has turned from a corporate Internet page advertising the main product of our Publishing House – ‘Ekologia Xabarnamasi – Ekologichesky Vestnik’ journal and first planned as electronic version of the journal into original and successful site. Now it is a multilingual eco-portal (materials are presented in three languages: Uzbek, Russian and English) with many additional information services. During five years over 1700 information materials (news items and analytic articles) were placed on our site; the resource contains more than 5000 pages. The information about past events concerned with environment protection, competitions and seminars, trainings and ecological actions is efficiently published. All news is supported with photo-illustrations.
A lot of news is exclusive. Other Internet resources including international ones regularly quote news placed at the site ECONEWS.UZ. Attendance of the site is the result of carried out work. Daily over 150 people read it; they look over more than 300 pages. The site is visited by both Uzbek and foreign users.
The site ECONEWS.UZ has become a providing ground for new ideas and plans. The first in Central Asia information resources devoted to alternative energy, saving of resources and waste management are bright examples of it. Constant rubrics have turn into original and successful and often visited resources: ENERGY.ECONEWS.UZ and WASTE.UZ.
The stuff of our organization is constantly working on broadening of the line of information products and rising of material’s quality. The big changes in visual component of the site ECONEWS.UZ improvement of its functions and significant increase of a number of daily placed materials are connected with it. At the same time we methodically and purposefully carry out the work on broadening the topicality of the resource.
