The environment management is among top common priorities of management systems. The environment management system insures order and consistency of resolution of the ecological problems by means of resources placement, allocation of responsibilities and permanent assessment of methods, procedure and processes. The environment management system is a sign of good management of territory and raises its investment attractiveness. Introduction of environment management to the maximum extent prevents ecological disaster. The primary goal of policy in the field of environment management system is to realize the right to favourable environment and its protection from negative influence by means of transition from liquidation of pollution consequences to its prevention. And so the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Additional Measures for Introduction of Quality of Accordance to International Standards Management Systems at the Enterprises of Uzbekistan’ was adopted in July 2009. Certification of quality management systems by the ISO 9000 series standard is generally accepted demonstration of quality stability in whole world. Certification of the ecological management systems is accomplished by international standards of ISO 14000 series which define the main goals of policy, the principles and requirements to the ecological management systems. The Republican scientific and practical seminar ‘Introduction of Management of Quality and Environment Protection System’ was organized at the State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 12 February with the purpose of explanation of the systems of quality management and ecological management. The State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Scientific Research Institute of Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the ‘Uzstandart’ agency organized this seminar. Heads of province committees for nature protection, province departments of Main Office for ecological certification, standardization and rate setting of the State Committee for Nature Protection participated in it. Karim Utaev – the head of certification, researches department, Ph. D. of technical science, made the presentation on ‘Insurance of Execution of the Resolution of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Additional Measures on Spreading of Introduction of Quality Management Systems at the Enterprises of the Republic’; Angela Sergeeva – the head of sector of this department made the presentation on ‘Introduction of Quality Management System by the International Standard ISO 9001’; and Abdukhamid Khalikov- senior research worker and international expert presented the report ‘On Environment Management Systems. Requirements and Aids on Application of International Standard ISO 14001’. Heads of the province committees for nature protection and employees of the Main Office for ecological certification, standardization and rate setting asked a lot of questions about practical application of these presentations. The Republican scientific and practical seminar ‘Introduction of Management Quality and Environment Protection System’ will further the improvement of ecological situation in our country and allow enterprises manufacturing the production meeting the world standards.
