Youth’s striving for education, getting occupations and trades is welcomed and encouraged in Uzbekistan for economic and social development of the country. Moreover, the youth has an opportunity to be educated not only in our country but also abroad. The state takes great notice of youth’s education, renders assistance in getting occupations and trades. The national program for specialist preparation, worked out in Uzbekistan, aims at getting to the young generation (that makes up no less than 60% of the population of our country) all opportunities to realize the abilities in the field of education. For all this, the material and technical base of educational and scientific institutions are being developed, modern colleges and lyceums are being built, educational, specialized literature is being published. It is not accidental, 2010 is declared in Uzbekistan the ‘Year of the Harmoniously Developed Generation’. The exhibition ‘Education and Career’ is annually organized in our country for already 5 years with the purpose of rendering assistance to the youth in the choice of education. The current year has not become an exception. On 11-13 February the 5th International Exhibition ‘Education and Career’ is held in the Exhibition Hall ‘Uzkurgazmasavdo’. The ‘SSP Expocontract’ Ltd, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Public Movement of Uzbekistan Youth ‘Kamolot’ and the Center of Assistance for Job Placement of the Youth organize this exhibition. It is held with the support of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The 5th International Exhibition ‘Education and Career’ is the unique and large scaled event in the market of educational and skill services of Uzbekistan. For already several years these exhibitions have been gathering at its platform leading all level’s educational institutions of our country and also foreign higher educational institutions. Reputable educational institutions of Uzbekistan as well as the Singapore Institute of Management Development, the International Westminster University, higher-educational institutions of China, England, Switzerland and other take part in exhibition. This event is of interested for pupils of senior forms, students of colleges and lyceums, university entrants. After visiting the exhibition they can get the idea of opportunities of modern education both in Uzbekistan and abroad. Parents can conduct direct talks with representatives of leading educational institutions. Graduates from higher educational institutions will receive the answers to the questions about additional education and job search. The first day of the exhibition ‘Education and Career’ has demonstrated the great interest of the youth for education.
