Today more than one hundred scientific, research and project designing organizations are working in Uzbekistan. Their developments meet all modern requirements. They are ecological and economical, aim at solving applied problems of agricultural production. However, often the applied works and developments of scientific and research institutes hardly open way to agricultural practice. Taking into consideration these negative tendencies, the Resolution of the Cabinet Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‘On Additional Measures for Stimulation of Introduction of Innovative Projects and Technologies in Industry’ was issued in 2008. The Republican Fair of innovative ideas, technologies and projects is organized with the purpose of shortening of the period from an idea to the practical implementation. The primary goal of the Fair is creation of the conditions for raising science-intensive, high-technological industry, efficiently use of the capacity of scientific, research, project designing organizations of the country. On 9 February a preliminary fair of developments made by faculties and scientific centers took place at the Tashkent State Agricultural University. These developments are planned to be demonstrated at the 3rd Republican Fair of Innovative Ideas, Technologies and Projects, that will be held in Tashkent on 1-3 March of current year. The preliminary fair at the Agricultural University impressed the participants with variety of scientific ideas, developments that undoubtedly should positively influence on industry. The outcomes of the researches in the field of grain and cotton growing, agrotechnics, silkworm-breeding, veterinary medicine and cattle-breeding were presented there. The meeting of young scientists who presented their scientific works, with representatives of potential clients – ministries and departments of the country was also organized within the framework of preliminary fair of departments of the Agricultural University. The young scientists presented more than 50 developments that aroused the interest of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, the Republican Association of Cotton Industry, the Republican Association of Oil and Fat Industry, the Republican Center of Plants Protection. Having discussed scientific developments, economic benefit of using the results of the latest technologies and calculated the profit that can be received from their introduction, the potential clients were at once ready to conclude agreements on use of research results.
