Increasing worldwide interest in environmental issues, finding ways to overcome them and the role of electronic and print media to promote environmental knowledge is invaluable high. However, it should be noted that the materials are not always dedicated to environmental issues can lodge competently and reliably.
To address this important task to improve the professionalism of the media in the capital hotel "Grand-Tashkent" Sept. 17 launched the two-day training seminar. It brought together representatives from regional television stations - members of the National Association of electronic media on the theme "Better understanding of the people of Uzbekistan on climate change, biodiversity and land degradation through a wide coverage of electronic media." The seminar was held under the project "In the language of nature", funded by the Small Grants Program of Global Environment Facility, UNDP and Independent Electronic Media Association. Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan is a national partner of the project.
