About Information Centre

State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan by nature protection.

I. GENERAL POSITIONS

1.1 Information Centre (in feature IC), created agrees to order of Statenaturecommittee of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 48a from 1 June of 2004 and it is also structural division of a department of scientific and technical progress and propagation of State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan of nature protection.

1.2 The work of IC is carried out by the employees of a department of STPaP.

Information Centre must provide preserving bank of datas and property of IC.

1.3 Information Centre is a conducting division of committee in sphere of increase of a level of knowledge of a public and providing of access to the ecological information in electronic and printed other kinds.

1.4 IC in the activity is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan , Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan , Decrees, orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan , Decisions and Decisions of Oliy Majlis, Decisions and orders of government, orders, Decisions of State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and present Rule.

1.5 IC solves tasks and realizes own functions through Statenaturecommittee of the Republic of Karakalpakstan , regional and Tashkent urban committees by nature protection.

II. MAIN TASKS

Main tasks of IC are:

2.1 Providing any physical or legal person free-of-charge and easy approach to the ecological information available IC in electronic, printed and other kinds.

2.2 Providing on regular basis of the tax and updating of the necessary ecological information.

2.3 Realization on base of IC seminars, trainings, press conference, meetings, conference for the representatives of nongovernmental noncommercial organization, journalists, schoolboys and students.

III. FUNCTIONS

Information centre according to the tasks, assigned to it:

3.1 Provides presence of the ecological information on republic in electronic and printed kind;

3.2 Provides free-of-charge easy approach of any physical or legal person to the available ecological information by republic;

3.3 Join with main management, departments, and also with divisions of committee, through global system “Internet” provides on regular basis tax and updating of the necessary ecological information by the Republic of Uzbekistan ;

3.4 Promotes realization on base of IC seminars, trainings, press conference, meetings, exhibitions, competitions on the best publication in MASS-MEDIA of problems of ecology, conference for the representatives NNO, journalists, schoolboys and students;

3.5 Supports close link and makes change of ecological information with other nature protection organizations, international ecological organizations, nongovermental noncommercial organizations and other organizations, carrying out works in sphere of ecology and protection of environment;

3.6 Through web – sait of Statenaturecommittee of the Republic of Uzbekistan provides change of ecological information with foreign countries;

3.7 Prepares alarm information for divisions of Statenaturecommittee about scientific researches in sphere of protection of environment and rational nature usage, about ecological legislation of foreign countries and others;

3.8 In common with edition of publishing house “CHINOR ENK” promotes release in republic scientific – famous, educational and special literature, magazine “Ecological bulletin of Uzbekistan”, brochures and posters by nature protection theme;

3.9 Organizes carrying out of measures by improvement of qualification of the experts of regional committees by nature protection, employees of divisions of nature protection of an other ministries and departments, big enterprises of the republic;

3.10 By result of own activity prepares and presents to management of committee information, reports.

IV. RIGHTS

4.1 Information Centre within the limits of the competence has the right:

- With due hereunder to involve the experts from other managements and departments for regular processing received on a network "«Internet" of the information and updating of a databank of information centre;

-To ask and to get in managements, divisions of Statenaturecommittee information for regular updating of databank of Information Centre.
